The short version: nothing leaves your phone. We never see your child’s name, plans or brave days, because they are never sent to us or anyone else.

What the app keeps, and where

Brave Bubbles stores its data in a file on your iPhone: each kid’s buddy, plan, brave word, brave days and stickers, and your settings. There is no account, no sign-in and no server. We do not receive, host or back up this data.

Your child’s first name

The app asks for a first name so the certificate says it right. It is optional; you can skip it. If you add one, it stays on the phone. A certificate only leaves the phone if you share it yourself, using the share sheet.

The microphone

Only the pinwheel game uses the microphone, so your child can blow into the phone to spin it. The permission is asked the first time that game opens, never before. While the pinwheel is on screen the app reads how loud the sound is, and nothing else. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can turn the microphone off in Settings at any time; everything else keeps working.

Purchases

The Brave Pack is bought through Apple. Apple handles payment and receipts under its own privacy policy. We do not see your card, your Apple ID or your name. The app only learns whether the pack is unlocked on this Apple ID.

No analytics, no ads, no third parties

• No analytics or tracking of any kind.
• No advertising.
• No third-party code in the app.
• No network requests except to Apple for the purchase.

Built for kids

Brave Bubbles is made to the App Store’s rules for kids’ apps. It collects no personal data. Buying the Brave Pack and following any link out of the app sit behind a grown-up question that young children cannot answer. There are no chat features, no user content shared with others, and no ads.

Backups and deleting

Back up in the Grown-ups tab makes a file with every kid, plan and brave day on the phone, and hands it to you through the share sheet; where it goes is up to you. Reset everything, or deleting the app, erases the data for good.

This website

This site has no cookies, no analytics, no scripts and no third-party requests. Our host, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs for security.
