Brave Bubbles is a small iPhone app for kids who are scared of shots, built on the CARD plan. The whole ask is one sheet of paper: print the flyer below and put it where families wait, in an exam room or at the vaccine station. There is nothing to install, sign up for or integrate, and no cost to the clinic.

Print it from your browser (File, Print). The page prints on US Letter or A4 without the site header and footer.

Built on the CARD system (Comfort, Ask, Relax, Distract), the CMAJ 2015 guideline on pain and fear during vaccination, and the Cochrane review of distraction and breathing for children’s needle procedures. The app itself has not been tested in a trial.
